Engineering Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
1. Create and modify designs of equipment, systems, or installations, applying standard design concepts.
2. Assist in designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations, according to specifications.
3. Participate in design reviews, verification, and modify designs as necessary.
4. Support the preparation of design assignments to meet contractual obligations, ensuring safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.
5. Solder and perform light mechanical assembly.
6. Participate in product development and performance testing.
7. Ensure Bill of Materials meets contractual obligations.
8. Support product documentation and instructions.
9. Assist in technical risk assessments and implement actions in projects.
10. Participate in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electronics/Technologist.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills at various organizational levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering design tools.
* Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally (up to 20%), an asset.
