In partnership with The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Natural England, we have just launched a new programme called Nature Towns and Cities. This role will see you working with peers and stakeholders across the partnership to help them bring nature to the UK‘s towns and cities for the people who need it most.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Project Officer to join the team on a 24-month fixed term contract.
You’ll play a pivotal role supporting the programme’s Communications & Marketing Lead to help deliver the comms and marketing ambition while keeping stakeholders engaged and ensuring everything is running to schedule.
What you'll be doing
* You’ll support the team in delivering the programme’s planned communications & marketing work.
* You’ll develop and maintain systems and processes to support delivery of a cross-channel comms plan.
* You’ll coordinate stakeholder management across the partnership and with agencies, ensuring compliance with GDPR and accessibility requirements.
* You’ll use your excellent communications skills with senior stakeholders across the partnership, negotiating and influencing to ensure that programme communications deliver the overarching comms strategy.
* You’ll have day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of the communications plan, sharing learning and information management, reporting and performance monitoring.
Who we're looking for
* Understanding of Programme and Project Management principles and practice, delivering to scope, time and quality.
* An understanding of communication and marketing channels and experience working on campaigns.
* Knowledge of communications and stakeholder management processes and practices, including techniques to influence and negotiate at all levels both internally and externally.
* Ability to co-ordinate various pieces of work, ensuring the communications and marketing plan is delivered on time to a high standard.
* Written and verbal communication skills, including the delivery of presentations to groups.
