For over 25 years, Transcover has specialised in automatic tarping systems for covering commercial vehicles. We work closely with our customers and understand their truck bodies, loading operations, and the materials that they haul. All Transcover sheeting systems are designed and manufactured by our factory in England and are exported to over 20 countries throughout the world.
Job Role: Payroll & HR Officer
Part Time: 12 – 16 hours a week, 3 or 4 days.
Location: Aylesford, Kent
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll and HR Officer to join the team at Transcover. This role will be fully accountable for the weekly and monthly payroll end-to-end process as well as basic HR and recruitment administration and tasks for circa 45 team members.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience using Bright Pay and People HR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for all weekly and monthly payroll processing end-to-end in a timely and accurate manner.
* Manage all RTI submissions and auto-enrollment pensions.
* Support the Accounts Team with payroll information.
* Manage new starter administration, including offer letters, paperwork, and inductions.
* Support recruitment activities by placing adverts and completing initial CV screening.
* Ensure data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems.
* Assist employees and managers with queries.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience using Bright Pay highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* High attention to detail.
Part-time role: £14 - £16 per hour.
