Arborist Supervisor
Location: Stafford
Salary/hourly rate: £15.50 per hour
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
About the role
As a Contract Supervisor, you will focus on the day-to-day running of the contract, managing the planning and performance of works through area-based teams, ensuring that the required contract specifications are met. You will have responsibility for people management, health & safety conformance, and assisting the Contract Manager as required. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure smooth operations and the highest standards of performance.
Requirements
* This role will require Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31) and Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Large fall over 380mm and Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41)
* Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry (EFAW+F) and Windblown Trees certificates are desirable but not necessary, as training can be provided.
* Proven experience as an Arborist
* Full Clean Driving Licence.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.
* Experience in managing teams and performance.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and risk management.
* Ability to train, guide, and mentor others in arb techniques
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
