Milton Keynes College has an opportunity for a passionate Peer Mentoring Lecturer who believes in the power of transforming lives through learning. The role will involve teaching the NCFE Level 2 Peer Mentoring, and CMI Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management courses.
A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training) with experience is preferred; however, for the right candidate with relevant industry experience, full training and mentoring will be provided.

ABOUT HMP Coldingley
HMP Coldingley is a Category C prison, holding approximately 500 adult male sentenced offenders. It focuses on rehabilitation and industrial training, preparing offenders for their release through accredited intervention programmes, skill and vocational based training and education, in a pro-social environment.
Courses at HMP Coldingley include Maths, English, IT, Art, Barbering, H&S, First Aid, Food Safety, Business, Leadership & Management, Award in Education & Training (AET), Learning Support and much more.
The surrounding area of Bisley is a quaint village in Surrey, known for its picturesque countryside and proximity to Woking. This location provides a relatively peaceful environment, which is conducive to the prison's rehabilitative efforts.
The education delivery hours are Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 11.30am, 2.00pm – 4.30pm and on Fridays 9.00am – 11.30am, with staff working on-site 8:00am – 5:00pm each day and 8:00am – 1:00pm on Fridays. Class sizes typically range from 8-10 learners.
