Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service. The service is part of a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team in Children’s SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.

Main duties of the job
SET CAMHS - Eating Disorder Service is commissioned to provide assessment for CYP presenting with symptoms of Avoidant Restrictive Intake Disorder, across Southend, Essex and Thurrock.
* Working closely with the multidisciplinary team in assessing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating a programme of care for service users with an ARFID diagnoses.
* Interest or experience of assessment of ARFID or with CYP with sensory profile.
* Willingness to attend training and develop skills.
* Ensuring that recommendations are communicated by utilizing the highest level of interpersonal skills to all members of the team and incorporated in the service users overall package of care.
* Attending weekly MDT meetings to provide expert advice to clinicians regarding the progression of therapy support which is evidence based.
* Maintaining professional standards through ongoing continuing professional development, audit and evaluation in accordance with the Health and Care Professions Council Standards and Trust Policies and Procedures.
* Working closely with SET CAMHS generic teams and formulate recommendations who will be offering NICE guideline evidence based treatment for ARFID.
