A Front of House Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and maintaining cleaning standards. They line manage staff, liaise with the Catering Manager and Head Chef, and develop services. The role requires strong leadership, communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering excellence. The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the front of house, working directly with the catering team to ensure operational standards are consistently high.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Overall responsibility for daily operations in the front of house
* Ensuring the maintenance of service is kept to the highest standards
* Liaising with the Catering Manager & Head Chef to ensure alignment
* Line managing the General Assistants
* Adhering to Health & Safety legislation and in-house procedures
* Developing and improving services by looking at queue management, streamlining and cleaning turnover
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:**
* Hospitality experience at management level is essential
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Strong understanding of standard operating procedures and attention to detail
* Exceptional organisational, and communications skills
* Exceptional customer service and ability to handle high pressure situations
