As Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for putting together a comprehensive digital strategy, understanding target audiences across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and staying up to date on market trends. You will oversee campaign execution across the region, manage web developments, and handle budgets.

Your key responsibilities will include enhancing brand awareness, generating leads, optimizing conversion rates, fostering customer engagement, maximizing ROI, and embracing adaptability.
You will encourage cross-functional collaboration and work with senior management, stakeholders, and local teams to define the objectives and deadlines of projects. Leading a team to create engaging content for the website to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, social media channels, and email marketing is essential, ensuring they have the resources, tools, and budget to achieve the targets.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and be up to date on the latest e-commerce, SEO, advertising, social media, and email marketing trends. Strong experience across the full digital marketing mix is important for this role, along with experience in an FMCG environment and e-commerce.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage and define the execution of the marketing plan and ensure goals, objectives, and KPIs are met.
* Manage the roll-out of e-commerce developments and platforms across Europe.
* Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as search engines, websites, social media, email, and mobile.
* Measure and report digital marketing performance and make recommendations to improve results.
* Lead and manage the digital marketing team to meet business goals.
Have a working knowledge across all key areas - from SEO and content to paid ads and email – and bring improvements in a constantly evolving landscape:
* Support the commercial functions of the local regions, including price monitoring, SEO enhancements, and troubleshooting.
* Collaborate with other departments and external partners to coordinate projects, including local teams, product management, legal, customer service, IT, business process, agencies, vendors, and media outlets.
* Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices.
* Provide a 12-month calendar of content across product launches, promotions, social media, email marketing, and SEO.
* Ensure websites, campaigns, and data capture are compliant and in line with legal requirements.
* Budget management.
* Maintain the high standards of brands across Europe.
* Provide hands-on support at marketing events in the UK and abroad.
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience in Digital Marketing, including e-commerce.
* Highly creative with the ability to deliver engaging, informative, and motivating content (text, image, and video).
* Hands-on experience in content management or CRM platforms.
* Strong project management skills.
* A team player who can also excel when working independently.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments.
* Enthusiasm to travel in the UK and internationally (mainly Europe).
DESIRABLES:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience managing a team.
* Experience managing large budgets.
* Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
* Analytical mind, with a passion for measuring data.
* Experience within an FMCG environment.
* Commutable distance from Maidenhead.
* Ability to speak a European language in addition to English.
