About the opportunity
Join Jacobs' Programmes & Advisory team in Europe, where around 1,000 dedicated professionals provide innovative solutions in the civil infrastructure sectors. Our Economics and Outcomes capability supports clients with economic analysis and business case development, driving commercial success and societal well-being.

We are looking for passionate economists at various career stages to join our dynamic team. Our sectors include energy, water, environment, transport, and economic development. You will collaborate with talented colleagues to deliver impactful projects and grow our business in regulated sectors and sustainable development.
Clients include private investors / developers, Government Departments and regional / local authorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting/leading significant engagements in economic analysis and advisory
Developing new and existing business engagements
Delivering and enhancing project capabilities
Supporting project delivery within our business management systems
You will be working on some cutting edge projects, such as hydrogen transportation, boosting power to large scale data centres and working closely with the Department for Net Zero. A good understanding of economic trends and markets across at least one of our sector interests in a relevant professional environment
Consultancy sales and project delivery experience
Proficiency in spreadsheet modelling, GIS, database software, and big data analysis
Good interpersonal and organisational skills to build relationships across operational and sales teams
Strong problem-solving skills
Relevant academic qualifications and professional memberships
