The Role: Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for processing the Client Money receipts and payments daily, recording this information and posting to Sage.
This is a 1 year contract with the possibility of it being made permanent, based in our Malvern office working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm offering an annual salary of £12,480.
Responsibilities:
Processing client refunds
Supporting the team with a mix of routine weekly and monthly tasks
Following up on outstanding balances with company account handlers
Investigate company records to resolve queries
What You’ll Bring:
A good level of computer literacy – Microsoft Excel and Outlook are essential.
Good spreadsheet skills – formulas and tables.
The ability to analyse and interpret financial information.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills
A positive, collaborative and enthusiastic approach to work
Experience:
A financial background essential
Experience with Sage would be an advantage
