The Role:
You will be responsible for liaising with the programme/project delivery teams and preparing the business for the transition to new ways of working by assisting in creating and implementation of change management strategies. Your role will involve engagement with senior management across the business and an in-depth involvement with operational teams, leading by example and championing change. You will need the ability to lead, support, coach and empower others to deliver in a multifaceted area of work.
Responsibilities:
* Development of business change management plans independently in routine/basic situations.
* Integrate business change management plans into the project plans e.g. schedule, WBS, PMP etc.
* Support the development of the business case for a small or simple project.
* Manage benefits and develop metrics to track success/benefits in a routine/basic situation.
* Monitor the progress of business change management activities and provide insightful recommendations.
* Provide regular and meaningful reports to stakeholders on the delivery of business change management plans on the project.
* Develop business change stakeholder management plans for complex projects.
* Develop communication plans and produce appropriate communication materials that are adapted to suit different audiences.
* Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and deliver training.
* Identify, assess and manage risks arising from business change management activities in routine or basic situations.
* Ensure business change management activities are incorporated into project LCM activities.
* Provide advice on business change management activities to stakeholders and senior executives when required.
Skills & Experience:
You will have the following skills or proven experience:
* Accountable as a member of the Business Change Management Team for supporting the development and implementation of standardised and tailored Change Management Practices.
* Accountable for prompting Change Management and adoption of change at a local level.
* Will provide consultancy advice to senior stakeholders, peers and team members.
* May supervise 1-2 professional staff or just be responsible for managing their own delivery and performance.
* May have some budget responsibility at a low level.
* Stakeholder Management.
* Change Impact Assessments.
