We are seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager to support our team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse to take on a leadership role while maintaining hands-on clinical practice.

Contract & Salary Details
✔ 44 contracted hours per week
✔ £23.00 per hour
✔ 50% clinical / 50% supernumerary hours
✔ Flexibility to cover shifts when required (annual leave, sickness, etc.)

✔ 5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract)
What You’ll Do
✔ Lead Clinical Care – Oversee and deliver exceptional nursing care, ensuring residents' needs are met with dignity and respect
✔ Medication & Wound Management – Manage medication administration and wound care, ensuring best practices are followed
✔ Support & Train Staff – Lead by example, mentoring and developing the care team to enhance their skills and confidence
✔ Enhance Resident Wellbeing – Promote a supportive and engaging environment where residents feel valued and cared for
✔ Ensure Compliance – Maintain high standards of care, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
✔ Act as Deputy to the Home Manager – Step in when required, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
✔ Foster Positive Relationships – Work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community
What We’re Looking For
✔ RGN with Active NMC Registration – Essential for this role
✔ Experience in Elderly Care – Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting preferred
✔ Leadership & Communication Skills – Strong ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and maintain excellent communication
✔ Clinical Expertise – Confident in wound care, medication management, and leading a clinical team
✔ Adaptability & Flexibility – Willingness to cover shifts when required and step up when needed
