Senior Insolvency Administrator – London
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £42000
Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Insolvency Jobs in London is currently working with one of the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firms who would like to recruit an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator into their team.
You will be tasked with taking responsibility for a portfolio of more complex insolvency cases both corporate and personal to include:
1. Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations
2. Members’ Voluntary Liquidations
3. Compulsory Liquidations
4. Bankruptcies
5. Administrations (trading and non-trading)
6. Company Voluntary Arrangements and Individual Voluntary Arrangements
The Role:
7. Managing case delivery including pre-appointment, case progression and closure
8. Ensuring all aspects of casework are completed in a timely manner and to a good standard
9. Ensuring all statutory and other deadlines are met
10. Reporting case progress and recommendations to management
11. Investigations into directors and debtors conduct
12. Dealing with creditor claims
13. Understanding the key commercial aspects of the insolvent cases
14. Liaising with directors and employees both pre and post appointment
15. Liaising with solicitors on specific legal issues arising on cases
16. Reporting case progress, recommendations and areas of risk to management
17. Investigations into directors and debtors conduct including criminal investigations
18. Managing asset valuations and realisations
19. Dealing with claims and queries from creditors and declaring dividends
20. Attending meetings with creditors and shareholders and accompanying IP to initial meetings
21. Identifying and managing asset realisations and potential issues to be brought to the Office Holders attention
22. Liaising and corresponding with all stakeholders on cases
23. Managing job WIP, billing and budgets on cases
24. Preparation of all statutory documentation and reports
25. Attending interviews with directors, bankrupts and other relevant parties
26. Assist with the firm’s marketing activities as and when required
27. As you progress within the role your duties will become more delegation based, preparing you to move into management.
Requirements:
28. Proven insolvency experience in a similar role is essential
29. ACA/ACCA or CPI/ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency
30. Studying towards or considering JIEB desirable but not essential
31. Proven ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
32. Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook and time management system
33. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
