Job Title: Manufacturing Finance Controller Location: Norwich, UK Company Overview: We are a leading manufacturing company based in Norwich, seeking a skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Finance Controller to join my clients finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the manufacturing division. Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes across the manufacturing operations. Monitor key financial metrics and operational KPIs to drive cost optimisation and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and procurement, to support decision-making and drive financial performance. Manage international financial transactions and reporting, with a focus on maintaining clear communication with counterparts. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Provide financial leadership and strategic insights to support long-term business objectives. Requirements: Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role, with a strong background in manufacturing. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost control in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting software. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
