About the role:
A prestigious luxury boutique hotel and venue in Knightsbridge, renowned for its exceptional services and world-class event spaces, is looking for a Sales and Events Coordinator to join their team. This role is integral to the smooth execution of events, working closely with the Head of Events to deliver memorable experiences in our unique and elegant venues. As a Sales and Events Coordinator, you will assist in the planning and coordination of a variety of events, from intimate weddings to corporate gatherings. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will ensure each event runs flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the coordination and execution of events from start to finish, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations.
* Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the planning process.
* Work closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless event delivery.
* Coordinate logistics such as event timelines, guest lists, catering, and AV requirements.
* Ensure that event spaces are set up to the highest standards before and during the event.
* Manage day-of event operations, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and on schedule.
* Provide support for events such as weddings, corporate meetings, receptions, and other special occasions.
* Assist with on-site client relations, ensuring a positive experience and exceeding expectations.
* Handle post-event follow-up, including gathering feedback and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in event coordination, ideally within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events at once.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
* Ability to work under pressure, stay calm during busy events, and adapt to changing requirements.
* Previous experience with weddings and large-scale events is highly preferred.
