Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are now looking to develop our central Sustainability & Social Values team by recruiting an ESG Reporting Lead to take ownership of the reporting tools and processes around ESG reporting across company operations in UK & I.
The company employ over 30,000 staff, covering services from engineering maintenance to site catering for a rich client portfolio in public and private sectors
With such a large and complex organisation it is pivotal we deploy a sufficient centrally based resource to monitor and manage ESG reporting
Working with a variety of Sustainability and Social Values Stakeholders, plus staff in Account teams, P&C and elsewhere, you will develop and implement ESG reporting frameworks and processes in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements including but not limited to legislative, sector and voluntary UK & EU frameworks
Here, you will have the chance to make a real impact, publishing comprehensive ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the development of a new UK & Ireland Sustainability Report
This is a fantastic role for a Sustainability professional with skills in reporting to specialise within ESG reporting in a brand new role for a large, market leading, international firm
Actions will include:
* Verify GHG calculations (Scope 1, 2 & 3) and prepare the documentation including methodology for various ESG reporting purposes
* Complete a range of legal reporting e.g. Streamlined Energy & Carbon Reporting (SECR), Office of National Statistics annual survey (ONS), Climate risk & opportunity log for UK&I
* Support our operational teams with sector / customer reporting requirements e.g. PPN 06/21, NHS Evergreen, Customer emissions reporting
* Working with our Global Climate team and other Regional representatives to support the mobilisation of our new Carbon Accounting Platform (Watershed) aligned to ESG reporting and audit needs.
* Develop and implement ESG reporting frameworks and processes in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements including but not limited to legislative, sector and voluntary UK & EU frameworks
* Collect, analyse, and report on ESG data from various sources within the company, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in
* ESG reporting and performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of ESG goals and initiatives across UK & Ireland
* Highlight ESG (including legislative and regulatory associated) risks for the organisation. Monitor and stay updated on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on ESG reporting requirements and improvements.
* Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, auditors and regulatory bodies, to communicate our ESG performance and initiatives
We need from you:
* Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
* Experience in using ESG reporting software and tools – and able to work in areas without them
* A level of experience in providing support, advice and technical insight regarding ESG working across business functions with colleagues, customer and suppliers at various levels of seniority.
