About the role
We are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to join secondary schools in Swadlincote on an ad-hoc basis. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking for flexible, varied work. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task, follow the lesson plans provided, and behave in a manner consistent with the school's policies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting with immediate start availability.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
* Experience working with secondary school-aged students (ages 11-16) in an educational or supervisory role is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong classroom management skills: Ability to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, ensuring students stay focused and engaged.
* Good communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff in a professional manner.
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Experience working with secondary school-aged students (ages 11-16) in an educational or supervisory role is beneficial but not essential.
