Treasury Accountant with previous experience in a senior finance role such as Management Accountant or Cash Management Accountant or similar with working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the financial industry is required for well-established Global Leading Company.

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Treasury Accountant with previous experience in a senior finance role such as Management Accountant or Cash Management Accountant or similar with working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the financial industry.
Working as the Treasury Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of regular cash flow projections for use by senior management.
As the Treasury Accountant you will also be responsible for monitoring group cash balances, researching for a new cashflow forecasting system, group tax planning and will be the main point of contact for cash accounting issues.
DUTIES
Your duties as a Treasury Accountant will include:
1. Produce weekly cash flow projections for the Group, working with Management Accounting colleagues to understand key cash inflows and outflows
2. Maintain and improve current AR and AP cash flow models
3. Monitor operating bank account balances on a daily basis, ensuring all entities are sufficiently funded
4. Plan and implement timely cash transfers, obtaining the best available FX rate for the Group
5. Work with Commercial Accountant on Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement for annual Budget and periodic forecasts
6. Develop weekly reporting formats for senior management and Board
7. Monthly cash reports on Invenio (debt purchasing business) entities by portfolios (UK and US)
8. Report the current Group Debt on a weekly basis
9. Support Global Finance Director on identifying alternative uses for cash surplus finding high-interest savings accounts (UK and Australia) or reducing current debt and interest costs (US)
10. Research for a new cashflow forecasting system that can be integrated into their current accounting system (NetSuite)
11. Develop tax planning process and strategy for the Group
12. Develop medium/long term cash planning process, working with the Senior Finance Leadership Team to deliver a Group strategy
13. Develop scenario planning models for group cash planning
14. Meet the goals and objectives as set out by Management
15. Ad hoc projects and assignments as allocated by the GFD or Global CFO
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Achieved or studying for professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent
* Experience in Senior Finance role such as Management Accountant, Cash Management Accountant
* Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the financial industry
* Drive to develop and expand role relevant knowledge
* Experience of medium/long term cash planning process / tax planning process and strategy
* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, as well as financial statement software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
* Team player with a positive – ‘can do’ approach
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
