The Corporate Communications team at Kent Police is seeking an experienced Digital Content Creator to work in a team that consists of individuals with specialist skills including journalism, marketing, graphic design, videography, internal communications, web development and social media.
The Digital Content Creator will complement the existing team by working collaboratively across the department and wider force to elevate strategic work using the latest trends and technologies. The role will include sourcing, producing, and publishing coordinated digital content on Kent Police's internal and external communications channels, bringing an enhanced skill set to the department and an innovative approach to publicity.
Through the creation of video and infographics that keep pace with modern communication trends, the role priority will be to proactively promote good policing work, support marketing strategies in line with force priorities, and help build trust and confidence in the community.
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who will bring their extensive skills and experience to grow the force's social media engagement through the rapid use of positive, proactive video content and infographics. We want someone with an influencer approach who can target a large element of the public who now only consume news digitally, including young people and young adults.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £54,597.00.
