Job Description
Key Duties for the Group Management Accountant:
* Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and financial statements
* Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes
* Produce insightful variance analysis and commentary for senior management
* Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
* Assist with statutory reporting and liaison with external auditors
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
The Successful Applicant
Required Experience for the Group Management Accountant:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
* Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
* Experience in consolidation and group reporting within a multi-entity structure
* Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management experience
* Commutable to St. Albans
