B2 Licensed EngineerThe B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on H135/H145 rotorcraft. Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate.Key Responsibilities:Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor.Lead a team to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems.Replace avionic line-replaceable units, requiring simple tests to confirm serviceability.Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the Avionics workshop as required.Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping duties.Desired Knowledge and Skills:Essential:Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.Familiarity with specialized test equipment related to avionic and electrical systems.Up-to-date knowledge of:CAA regulations, particularly Part 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM)Flight and Airport OperationsAircraft Line MaintenanceDesirable:Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.Experience with SAP and ERP software.
