What You Will Do Help deliver important initiatives by making impactful decisions and ensure our organisation delivers on them. Mentor engineers to help them improve their technical ability, their domain expertise, and build their profile within and outside of the organisation. Discover, define, and refine new technologies and to build, run, and operate stateful microservices and lambdas in a multi-region cloud environment. Promote and support Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban by leading regular ceremonies such as stand-up, retrospectives and sprint planning. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, Operations, and other business partners to understand requirements and articulate technical decisions and outcomes. What To Bring Domain expertise in either Streaming or Identity (or a consistent track record of learning new domains). Experience with one of these Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages: Java, Scala, or Kotlin. Familiarity with a cloud provider: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Compute (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. A willingness to learn, experiment with, and create new technologies. Nice To Haves Familiarity with both object oriented programming (OOP), and functional programming (FP) standard methodologies. Familiarity with Terraform, and infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps. Familiarity with Databricks and Apache Airflow products. The Perks 25 days annual leave.
