We are looking for a Courier to join our team at Swindon. Whether you are fresh from the test centre or have experience, we want to speak to you!
Your role
As a FedEx courier, you are the face of the business, delivering parcels on time to our customers. We believe that our strengths come from our differences, and we actively invest in recruiting and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
Working hours: 45.00 per week
Shift: Monday – Friday 06:30 – 16:30. However, to meet business demands and ensure the success of our team, overtime may be required. We value dedication and offer competitive rates for overtime hours, ensuring you’re compensated for your extra effort.
Salary: £14.36 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am. £646.20 per week for the courier C1 role based on 45 hours.
What will you be doing?
1. Collection and delivery of parcels and freight to our customers
2. Security of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle
3. Multi drop deliveries
4. Complete procedural checks on your vehicle
5. Comply with Health and Safety regulations
What are we looking for?
1. A full valid class C1 licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Card (Experienced couriers with a B class licence would also be considered)
2. Someone with great customer service skills
3. Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly
4. Good understanding of driving rules and regulations
