Job Purpose
To deliver a comprehensive Service Support and Service Delivery engineering function, which is cost-effective and efficient for the Betfred UK Retail Estate. The successful candidate will support, maintain, repair, and refurbish IT Equipment within our Retail High Street Licensed Betting Offices.
The shift pattern for this role is 4 days from 7, 40 hours per week.
Job Duties
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of network infrastructure, audio/visual systems, CCTV, Self Service Terminals, IT equipment, and peripherals.
* Report to engineering management and liaise with Retail Service Desk and Retail Support daily.
* Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
* Arrive on duty when required, ensuring all equipment is available, liaising with workshop and logistics.
* Maintain, support, and deliver betting technical hardware or equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
* Maintain technical support standards during business hours and key sporting events.
* Install and decommission stock using Stock Audit systems.
* Secure and store equipment safely when not in use.
* Produce daily timesheet reports.
* Communicate proactively with internal and external departments as needed.
* Conduct daily checks and maintain cleanliness of company vehicle.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Work safely, escalating issues to Senior Management.
* Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by a senior line manager.

* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Computer literacy at an appropriate level.
* Problem-solving, network, and technical skills.
* Experience with Audio/Visual Installation and RF distribution.
* Proactive approach and commitment to personal development.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team when required.
