A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within DG Voice. We are looking for a positive and reliable individual to join our team and help support the daily running of the charity.
DG Voice is a registered Scottish Charity established in 1998, to represent the voice of disabled people across Dumfries and Galloway.
Purpose of the Job and Key Responsibilities
The post holder will be working within a small team of workers and offer administrative support to the project. The role will be hybrid.
The post holder is expected to maintain professional standards, have a good understanding of confidentiality, and show good organization skills.
The main duties are as follows:
Responsibilities:
1. Entering and monitoring data on Databases
2. Updating records and filing
3. Issuing of poverty vouchers
4. Administration and support to the Outreach and Engagement Officers and the CEO
5. Basic admin support to include invoicing, purchasing, petty cash
6. Responding to information requests via calls, emails, and social media
7. Provide administrative assistance to the Community Outreach and Engagement Officers to support with the running and delivery of projects
8. Updating social media and website and help to promote upcoming activities
9. Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Part-time, 10 hours per week, 6 months contract
Salary: £27000 pro rata
This role has been funded from National Lottery ticket sales with funds distributed by the National Lottery Community Fund.
