The postholder will work in collaboration with the Find&Treat Service Leads and the wider Find&Treat multi-disciplinary team in providing a smooth- running service for London including outreach, Video Observed Treatment (VOT) and patient support.
The postholder works predominantly in the Find&Treat VOT Service under the supervision of the VOT Service Lead and Health inclusion nurse.
This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly. Main duties of the job
The postholder will be based within the Video Observed Treatment (VOT) Service of Find&Treat. VOT uses advances in digital technology within the NHS to support patients on TB treatment. The main duty will be to assist their VOT Service colleagues in providing an effective service, which works with over 70 different TB Services nationally and supports 100s of patients per year. The role will be predominantly office/computer-based, but there will be face-to-face contact with patients and TB Services also.
It is highly desirable that the post holder has experience of dealing with client groups that the F+T service regulalrly support. This would include all those groups who are vulnerable and excluded.
The working hours for this role are flexible and may require the post holder to work evenings and weekends.

• Assisting the Find&Treat VOT Service Lead to set up, train and start
patients on VOT
• Provide a point of contact for TB Services refering patients for VOT
• Assist the Find&Treat VOT Service Lead to manage referrals
• Observe video recordings of patients taking their medication
• View and accurately record (on patient VOT record chart) VOT
Observations and assist in follow-up patients as required
