Swim Teacher – Award Winning Sports Coaching & Wraparound Care Provider
Enderby, Leicestershire (with travel to venues across the Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, and Cambridgeshire area in the future)
Salary: £16-20ph based on experience and qualifications
Contract & Hours: Temporary contract between 29th May and 26th June / Monday to Friday during school term-time from 8:30am-3:30pm

To be considered for this vacancy, you MUST have at least a level 2 swim teaching qualification, a driving licence, and access to your own vehicle

If you are a committed swim instructor with a strong enthusiasm for delivering exceptional teaching to students, they would love to discuss this role with you! Their swimming sessions are held in portable pools at various primary schools throughout the Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, and Cambridgeshire and they are specifically looking for staff who are available to support on a short-term contract with a Primary School based in Enderby. After this contract concludes, you will be able to continue in a bank/casual role to work flexibly.
In this role, you will be required to deliver engaging and effective swim lessons in portable pools at various primary school venues, following an established swimming curriculum to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for students. Assessing and monitoring student progress, offering feedback, and accurately record performance and attendance will also form part of your responsibilities.
The role is offered as a 0-hour contract with working hours of 8:30am-3:30pm meaning a great alternative to traditional swimming roles, allowing successful candidates to continue to work in other roles on weekends and evenings.
Desirable qualifications and experience:
* Level 2 swimming teaching qualification (essential)
* At least 1 year experience in teaching swimming
* First aid and safeguarding training (training provided)
* Possession of a lifeguard qualification or NRASTC certification
* Enhanced DBS check and references (essential)
* Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
