What you will be doing
The Supply Chain team is an important support function in one of the world’s most exciting defence companies. We provide world-class sourcing, contract, and supplier management capability to Maritime Services to deliver increased product or service quality, reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) and enhance operating efficiencies without compromising quality, safety, health, or the environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* You’ll ensure that activity delivers value for money through planned and skilful management, typically coordinating supplier selection.
* Subsequent and appropriate management of the supply base (SRM).
* Contract negotiations, placement, and management of all third-party requirements in relevant categories/projects.
* You’ll develop relationships with stakeholders and maintain stakeholder maps.
* You’ll also be responsible for producing key reports and presentations to those same stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Business related degree, a Law degree, or an Economics degree.
