We have an exciting new vacancy for a Cyber Security Manager to join our IT department at EG Group!
As a vital member of our leadership team, the Cyber Security Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and infrastructure. This position is ideal for a dynamic and experienced professional who excels in team management and has a profound understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions.
Reporting directly into the Group Infrastructure & Security Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading a team of cyber security engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing robust security measures.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage and lead a team of cyber security engineers.
* Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.
* Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.
* Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Plan, implement, and oversee cyber security changes in a structured manner.
* Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.
* Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.
* Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Implement and maintain industry standard cyber security controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of the controls on a regular basis.

Candidate Requirements
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
* Understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cyber security threats.
* Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
* Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.
* Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cyber security projects.
* Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
* Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).
* Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
