My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in Buckingham. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent, full-time role will support the implementation of HR strategies and daily operations while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary HR contact for all employee queries, including holiday management, sickness absence, and general HR administration.
Manage and standardise the sickness absence process, including return-to-work interviews and documentation.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR matters, policies, and best practises.
Drive the performance review process, including scheduling and documentation.
Enhance the employee onboarding experience for consistent delivery across departments.
Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection.
Collaborate with the Recruitment Advisor to improve talent attraction strategies.
Support benefits administration and coordinate employee engagement initiatives.Required Qualifications:
CIPD qualified
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practises
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
Proven ability to handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentiallyDesired Qualifications:
Experience in a similar-sized organisation (50-200 employees)
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Experience with change management and organisational developmentPersonal Qualities:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change
Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgement
High level of integrity and professionalism
Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
