Sulis Hospital stands as a sister hospital to the Royal United Hospital Bath and is an integral part of our regional healthcare family. We are one of the first independent hospitals to be owned by an NHS Trust. We're significantly expanding our facilities with a brand new £25m wing at Sulis Hospital due to open later this year. The purpose is to provide improved access for NHS patients; this is in addition to our private healthcare provision. We are calling the new wing The Sulis Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SEOC). This new centre will focus on improved access for NHS patients to high-quality year-round elective orthopaedic care, providing care for patients from across BaNES, Swindon, Wiltshire, and the wider region on behalf of The Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The centre will include two additional modular theatres, additional inpatient beds, additional day surgery pods and the conversion of two existing theatres to laminar flow.
