Shift patterns: Full time
* Shift patterns - 15 hour shifts, Day shifts, Waking nights, Weekend work is a must for this role as well as sleep ins. 37.5 hours full time also available in Langport.

For this service, we require staff who are able and willing to drive our company cars; therefore, you must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Here at Lifeways in both Langport and Sherborne, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant. If you are new to care but have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.
This application is for roles available at either Langport or Sherborne, whichever is easier to travel to. This role will be based solely at either service; you will not be required to travel to a number of different locations. Some of the individuals we support have very limited communication, so they would use boards to convey their thoughts. Colleagues need to work with the people we support to complete all aspects of day-to-day support including personal care, support with cooking, cleaning tasks, support with medication and finances, supporting people into the community, providing emotional support, and finding new activities and opportunities.
