We are looking to procure an experienced "Project Manager" to join an award-winning Group Company based on the outskirts of Exeter. Their family of businesses invest in projects fostering social, environmental, and economic prosperity and they are committed to sustainability and minimal environmental impact.
The Group owns and manages a large and diverse portfolio of buildings across the Exeter area from innovative new commercial offices and energy-efficient eco workplaces to Grade 2 listed buildings, Holiday homes and Lodges.
Their Building and Property division that manages this portfolio for the group is looking for an experienced "Project Manager" to join their happy team. The Role
They are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented "Project Manager" to join the team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key projects ranging from construction and technical upgrades of buildings to data projects and process improvements.
You will collaborate closely with the Head of Built Environment to ensure that all projects align with the Groups sustainability goals, are completed on time, and deliver maximum impact. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across diverse project types.
Key Responsibilities:
Diverse Project Oversight: Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across their Built Environment/Property team, spanning construction, technical upgrade/retrofit, data, and process initiatives.
Full Lifecycle Management: Lead every phase of project delivery, from design and planning to implementation and evaluation to ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines.
Planning, Leases & Listed Building Expertise: Utilise in-depth knowledge of planning permissions and listed building regulations to support strategic property planning and ensure regulatory compliance.
Business Case Development: Create business cases in line with re-aligned P&L for individual properties to justify resource allocation, secure project funding, and support proposal approval.
Acquisition and Disposal: Oversee asset acquisition and disposal processes to ensure optimal management of resources in line with project goals.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track project and portfolio impact KPI’s, project progress, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring projects and wider portfolio aims stay on track.
Long-term Property Maintenance Planning: Create and drive 15-year property maintenance plans and set forward forecast budgets.
Marketing and Sales Support: Contribute insights to marketing efforts to align projects with customer needs and overall business objectives.
Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead targeted projects to enhance internal processes and workflows, boosting overall organisational efficiency.
Commercial Lease Management & Legal Support: Manage, negotiate, and administer commercial leases, including rent reviews and renewals while providing legal support and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and lease terms.
About You:
We are looking for candidates currently working for a Construction or Property Consultancy with the following skills and experience:

Problem-Solver: You approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, handling issues efficiently and keeping projects on track.
Fast Learner: You quickly grasp new concepts, whether it’s a new data system or a process improvement, adapting your approach to maximise project success.
Experienced Project Manager: You have a proven track record in managing a wide range of projects, from construction to process improvements and technical upgrades.
Certifications: You hold relevant certifications in project management (PRINCE2, PMP, RICS or equivalent) and are proficient in project management tools and software. This is an exciting and critical role within their team, ideal for a Project Manager with diverse project experience. Whether working on construction, data, or process improvement projects, you will play a key part in helping them achieve excellence across all areas.
