Applications are invited for the post of Senior Developer in the IT Department’s Student Administrative Systems team.
This post resides in the Student Administrative Systems team helping to design and implement elegant and compelling web-based experiences and data integrations that enable colleagues and students to interact with the University’s digital services.
We offer an opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated developer to work within a highly collaborative IT department and apply their technical skills within a variety of platforms that support the student journey within the University. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with a creative, problem-solving mind-set, a passion for technology and a desire to learn new skills.
This role will involve working in close collaboration with staff in Schools and supporting services, on cross-university activities to support all aspects of university life. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
There are plenty of training opportunities as the post holder will have opportunities to be engaged in developing across the Microsoft Power platform and within a new MS Dynamics implementation. There is access to Microsoft subscriptions, sector and vendor conferences, and knowledge from seasoned team members.
