Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to work in our Enterprise product team on our flagship product –EVision. You will work closely with existing product managers and engineering to define and build a product that customers love to use. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B product management on complex products as well as either Construction domain expertise or good working knowledge of Business Central or Dynamics365 more generally.
Location: remote – anywhere in the UK, with offices in Maidenhead and Newcastle upon Tyne
Key Responsibilities:
Day to day product management activity with the EVision team
* Manage the backlog
* Backlog grooming
* Sprint planning
* Epic & User story documentation
* Roadmap planning
* Progress reporting
* Carry out market discovery in conjunction with Product Director
* Manage the process for customer driven change requests
* Define and monitor product success criteria
* Fulfil the Product Owner role in the Agile Delivery framework
* Accountable for the overall viability of the solutions we build on EVision, working with Product Design & Engineering
Customer value
* Will customers buy the solution, will users use the solution and be happy?
Business model viability (with the CPTO)
* Will the business get the correct level of return on the investment)
Usability (with Product Designer)
* Can we deliver a user experience that is materially better than the alternatives?
Technical feasibility (with Development Manager)
* Can we build a solution that is robust, performant, that scales and can be built cost effectively in a useful time period
Work with internal & external stakeholders to build a product that customers love to use
Required Skills & Abilities:
* 5+ years of product management experience, working in an Agile delivery framework – Scrum or Kanban.
* This is a key requirement as we are evolving the way the product delivery team works and we are looking for a confident practitioner who can help coach and guide the team to an agile way of working that delivers
* B2B SaaS product development experience
* Strong product discovery skills
* Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
* Strong problem solving skills
* JIRA
* Passion for a high quality user experience
* Ability to work proactively and collaboratively
Desirable But Not Necessary Skills & Abilities:
* Construction, Finance, or similar ERP software experience
* Sage, Xero, Quickbooks experience
* Productboard or similar tools
* Experience in a role where you were instrumental in successfully introducing new ways of working
