The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the administration team for the department and is suitable for someone who can coordinate work effectively and provide support, motivation, and guidance to other team members. In this role you will need to have good customer service skills and the ability to multitask. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise and organise a varied workload. Main duties of the job Line management of the administration team including rota management and recruitment Responsible for overseeing prompt completion of administration functions such as appointment bookings, clinic letter management, emails, telephone calls and queries from physiotherapist team. Ensure targets and service level agreements are met to support the clinical provision To be responsible for the efficient running of the administration service for the physiotherapy department Take responsibility for digital referral management and new patient bookings Liaise with necessary services to support and assist patients as needed, such as patient transport. Be the first point of contact for welcoming patients and visitors attending the physiotherapy outpatient department Collect data and statistics to aid management in guiding the service direction.
