As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist to join our Technology team.
As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, ensuring device performance, and maintaining user satisfaction. You will work closely with IT, development, and security teams to ensure smooth operations and support business goals through innovative tech solutions.
This is a permanent role based in our Leamington Spa office, with five days per week on-site. Our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-user devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, phones) to ensure performance and satisfaction.
2. Design, deploy, and support MDM solutions for effective device management and security.
3. Handle software deployment, configuration, and updates.
4. Implement security protocols to safeguard devices and data.
5. Conduct regular risk audits and updates to mitigate emerging threats.
6. Create automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline IT processes on Windows and macOS.
7. Enhance efficiency and service delivery through automation.
8. Resolve complex IT issues and act as an escalation point for critical incidents.
9. Collaborate with vendors to develop IT solutions.
10. Contribute to IT strategy for improved efficiency and security.
11. Recommend new technologies to support business growth.
12. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding system status and improvements.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
2. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, MCSE) are a plus.
3. Proven experience in end-user computing and security.
4. Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Kandji).
5. Proficiency in managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
6. Expertise in creating automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
7. Knowledge of endpoint security tools (e.g., antivirus, encryption, patch management).
8. Familiarity with cloud solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Google Workspace).
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
12. Passion for technology and continuous learning.
13. Based in our Leamington Spa office with 5 days per week on-site.
