Quantity Surveyor with experience working on gas utility projects required to join a leading utility services organisation. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects under a framework contract, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to NEC contracts. Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all financial aspects of assigned projects within the gas utilities sector. - Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions for projects. - Prepare commercial contract administration, such as monthly valuations, cost value reconciliation etc. - Monitor project costs throughout its lifecycle, identifying any potential variances or deviations. - Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with contract specifications. - Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to address any financial issues or concerns that may arise during construction. - Evaluate subcontractor invoices and manage payment processes accordingly. - Prepare comprehensive reports on project finances, including cost forecasting, cash flow analysis, and profitability assessments. - Provide advice on commercial risks associated with projects and suggest strategies for risk mitigation.
