Job summary An opportunity had arisen for a full time Community Nurse within the In-patient based at Prospect Park Hospital. The post will be part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team which will offer assessment and treatment for patients in Oakwood Unit - a Community Hospital Ward within the Prospect Park Hospital site. The post will involve working both night and day duty. This could predominantly be day duty depending on the service cover. We are a dynamic and progressive community hospital setting and as a Band 5 Registered Nurse you work to support the Ward Sisters in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care You will be supported in developing your clinical skills, supporting the Ward Sister and Junior staff on the ward. Initiatives including RIO care records, Electronic Observations and Quality Improvement programmes are currently in progress within the Unit and your input with these will be encouraged within a supportive team. You will be able to identify service development needs, contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of the service and have responsibility for defined projects.
