We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Spalding, UK on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
You will be able to manage stock so that it is correctly stored, ripened and allocated to customer specifications whilst minimising wastage.
Responsibilities include:
* Inspect, control, and report on raw materials.
* Manage, rotate, and allocate stock effectively.
* Monitor and report yields and defects by pallet and grower.
* Maintain accurate daily stock records and allocations.
* Oversee and manage the ripeners.
* Update stock information on the Prophet computer system.
* Supervise external surveyors and maintain relevant records.
* Prepare customer samples as needed.
* Conduct visits to outside stores, ports of entry, and producers as required.
* Adhere to and enforce company Health and Safety policies.
* Ensure food safety, integrity, and hygiene standards are maintained.
* Report any food safety or integrity concerns to management immediately.
Requirements
* Experience in quality testing fruit
* Good Written English
* Excellent Verbal English
* Able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Must be able to work from own initiative and solve problems.
* Must be motivated and reliable.
* Good organisational skills
