The role:
To support the marketing team with the day-to-day management
of marketing campaigns for all brands, and social media engagement. Our brands
include Watergate Bay Hotel (Watergate Bay), SeaSpace (Newquay), Another Place,
The Lake (Cumbria) and Another Place, The Machrie (Islay).
To assist the management of tactical sales and marketing,
and content marketing campaigns. This includes destination, accommodation, food
and drink, sports and event promotion. As well as administration support for
the team.
Key responsibilities:
* Brand – be fluent with each brand
and work alongside the brand guidelines including tone of voice, style guide
and visual identity. Marketing support will be focused on Another Place, The
Machrie and social media support will be focused on SeaSpace.
* Administrative support – support the
team with any marketing administration where necessary.
* Online listings – review and
maintain online listings with images and text, and marketing tools for each
hotel. This includes TripAdvisor, Cool Stays, CoolPlaces, Visit Cumbria, Visit
Cornwall.
* PR and journalists – Be proficient
with our property management system (Versa and Resort Suite) to book in
journalists, create itineraries and contact journalists where appropriate. This
includes competition winners.
* Competitions – work with the head of
marketing to help deliver our competition and work with partner competitions
* Events – work with the team to
deliver and promote our annual events calendar for all brands, especially the
Watergate Bay beach events. Some weekend working will be necessary.
* Website – Regularly review the
websites to make sure content (words and images) is correct Work with the team
to update them and the chat bot when necessary.
* Social media engagement – work with
the social media manager and marketing managers to support and maintain the
social media channels including engaging with our communities. This includes
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Tik Tok,
TripAdvisor.
* Competitions – work with the head of
marketing to help deliver our competition and work with partner competitions
* Social media trends - The social
media landscape is constantly evolving, so it's essential to stay up-to-date on
the latest trends and technologies
Other responsibilities:
* Content creation – work with the
marketing team to assist with any content creation including proof reading,
writing, photography and film when needed.
* Content curation – review user
generated content and research shareable content which can be fed into our
content calendar using specific hashtags.
* Sales channels – assistance with
maintaining some of the sales channels we use including online travel agents.
* Digital advertising – review and
feedback on digital Google Ad campaigns.
* Website – Review and feedback on GA4
website analysis. Understand the website traffic and referral traffic
specifically.
* Social media advertising - review
and feedback on Meta campaigns
Departmental responsibilities:
* Develop effective relationships with team
members and third parties.
* Carrying out various departmental and
administrative tasks as required.
* Act in accordance with health & safety laws.
* Represent the brand at all times.
Key skills required:
* At least two years’ experience of marketing.
* Experience of business social media channels,
especially Instagram and Facebook.
* An interest in photography and filmmaking.
* Good knowledge of SEO best practice.
* A passion for digital and developing technology.
* Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
* Creativity and imagination.
* Attention to detail and organisation skills.
Key skills desired:
* Experience of project management and project
administration.
* An interest in creative writing.
General:
* Full time position
* Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to
5pm with a degree of flexibility
* Some weekend working required
* £25,000pa
* Predominantly office based working hours
