BAM FM is recruiting a cleaner at Oasis Academy, Brightstowe. This role reports to the Premises Manager.
Available Shift Pattern:
• 20 hours a week, Monday-Friday 3.35-7.35pm
• Term Time (Please note that holiday cleans may also be requested)
Pay: £12.26 per Hour, Overtime available

Your mission
Under the instruction/guidance of the Premises Manager, work within a team to provide a clean and hygienic environment which meets specified cleaning standards.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Cleaning in accord with the specification for the premises
2. Cleaning all surfaces, fixtures and fittings
3. Cleaning floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate
4. Cleaning kitchen/catering areas
5. Cleaning toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas
6. Cleaning equipment after use
7. Undertaking special cleaning programmes during designated periods
8. Collecting and appropriately disposing of waste
9. Cleaning and maintaining waste bins
10. Creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and productive working environment
11. Maintaining records as requested
12. Refilling and replacing consumables
13. Reporting faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to the appropriate person
14. Maintaining the security of premises by securing entrances/exits as appropriate and reporting potential security breaches
15. Ensuring lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate
16. Promoting and ensuring the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times
17. Monitoring and managing stock and supplies, cataloguing as required
18. Maintenance of specialist equipment, checking for quality/safety, and reporting other damages/needs
19. Ensuring compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures
20. Demonstrating and assisting others in safe and effective use of specialist equipment/materials

Previous experience would be preferred; however, it is not essential.
