We are seeking a strong Residential Care Home Deputy Manager to join an established, charity-owned elderly Home in the Slough area. Residential Deputy Care Home Manager: Job reference: PK62459 Monday to Friday £35,000 per annum 8am-4pm core hours, flexibility with shifts A passionate and dedicated individual is required to help run a comfortable, 29 bedded Residential Care Home in Slough as their new Deputy Home Manager. This is a full-time, permanent Deputy Manager position paying a very competitive £35,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday. This charity-run care home offers a number of comfortable communal areas, including lounges, a large dining room, and a beautiful conservatory overlooking a large private garden. The Care Home is rated ‘Good’ in all areas in their CQC report and has a fantastic reputation in the local area. As Deputy Care Home Manager, you will be part of the management team that sets the tone for delivering the very highest standards of person-centred care. You will be involved in everything from the orientation and development of staff, liaising with families and other healthcare professionals, to ordering and storing medication safely and being responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate care records. Previous Deputy Care Home Manager or Care Manager experience is preferred. Key duties will include assisting with the rota and care plans and the Deputy Manager will also supervise the care team on the floor, stepping in where needed to promote best practice. Experienced Care Team Leaders / Head of Cares with at least NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care are encouraged to apply.
