Bee Curious Childminding was an OFSTED outstanding, Curiosity Approach accredited childminding setting. In 2024, Bee Curious Childcare opened at Glebe Farm and works towards the same standards that earned Bee Curious Childminding Outstanding in All Areas in 2023.
We are looking for qualified, reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our team.
Depending on the role you apply for, your responsibilities will vary from providing high-quality activities for the children in our care, supervising a room of practitioners, or managing the setting of three rooms with up to 24 children per day. Working in partnership with the children's parents, your role will entail caring for the children's individual needs and making sure that they are safe at all times.
You will learn all about the EYFS and how children learn. Bee Curious Childcare is an accredited 'Curiosity Approach’ setting and follows the Hygge in The Early Years ethos.
Daily duties may include:
1. Working with children in the setting and on outings
2. Ensuring the safety and security of children in the setting
3. Promoting the children's learning and enjoyment through provocations and invitations to play
4. Supporting children's care routines
5. Supporting meal and sleep times
6. Helping to prepare, carry out, and clear away a wide range of childcare activities from outdoor play to creative activities and reading stories
7. Supervising and supporting children's play, extending their interests, ensuring they feel safe and secure at all times
8. Applying and adhering to policies and procedures
9. Developing/demonstrating an understanding of OFSTED guidelines
Qualifications Required:
1. Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare
2. GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable
3. Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid (these can be provided for the right candidate)

Weekly Wage:
up to £615 gross
Working Week:
Part-time and full-time positions available, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with the occasional early start at 7.30am)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £8.60-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25.5 – 42.5 per week
