Salary: Competitive What you'll be doing: Supporting project teams to manage activities, performance and reporting for a range of R&D projects within the Technology Management portfolio Providing advice to project technical leads and team members on the development of R&D proposals, and subsequent mobilisation and delivery of those projects Ensuring R&D projects are managed correctly, reporting progress at key stage gate reviews, and keeping all stakeholders informed Coordinating monthly financial and progress reviews and reporting for a range of R&D projects within the Technology Management portfolio Maintaining a watch on maturing and emerging technologies that may be of interest to the business, including regular contact with partner universities Supporting updates to our Technology Strategy, highlighting those technologies and capabilities that are important to our business Encouraging and supporting the submission of ideas for new R&D projects Your skills and experiences: STEM-related degree or equivalent experience Management of engineering projects involving the introduction of new technologies 5 years' experience within large or complex engineering projects Self-motivated with excellent communication skills Benefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Technology Management team: Our team are responsible for informing and implementing the BAE Systems Submarines Technology Strategy, identifying business challenges and opportunities, and the key technologies that could address them, then coordinating and facilitating the R&D activities to mature those technologies.
