Bus engineering apprenticeships at Oxford Bus Group
Launching world-class bus engineering training centres in the UK.
Go-Ahead, Oxford Bus Group’s parent company, is launching a groundbreaking initiative to reshape the future of engineering in the public transport sector.
Our two world-class Engineering Training Centres – located in London (Camberwell) and Manchester (Wigan) – will standardise and elevate the quality of engineering skills across the industry.
This initiative will help address the critical challenges facing transport, from workforce shortages to supporting national sustainability priorities.
By focusing on cutting-edge training in fleet electrification and sustainable transport, we’re aligning with the UK’s goals of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and revitalising the nation’s technical workforce.
Our vision is to create a new standard in engineering excellence, driving progress for the entire public transport industry.
Our vision for the future is clear: two state-of-the-art engineering hubs in the North and South of England – Camberwell and Wigan – designed to upskill the next generation of engineers.
