This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dedicated Critical Care workforce at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, as a Band 3 Health Care support Worker.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for experienced, proactive, enthusiastic and caring individuals, who will enjoy working in these demanding and rapidly changing environments, supporting all levels of nursing, medical and allied health staff. We provide care for both elective surgical patients and emergencies admissions from all specialities.

Qualifications and/or knowledge

1. NVQ level 3 in Health & Social care related subjects or equivalent qualifications/experience
2. QCF Level 3 or equivalent qualifications/experience
3. Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology

4. All Wales HCWS induction framework

5. Experience of working as a HCSW without direct supervision in a clinical setting and being managed by a qualified practitioner
