Our Client is a Home Furnishing Retailer based in Cookstown, and they have an opportunity for a Retail/Store Manager to oversee a team of 10 employees.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Senior Management to set achievable performance goals for the team.
* Liaise with HR to recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, including developing and implementing training programs, managing employee schedules, and conducting performance reviews and disciplinaries.
* Oversee and manage store team performance by training, motivating, and mentoring staff.
* Selling a vast range of high-end quality furniture/beds/upholstery.
* Input on marketing strategies to promote the store, planning and preparation for sales/promotions/events throughout the year.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by dealing with customer queries and complaints.
* Work with Senior Management on floor layouts to maximize sales.
* Maintain high merchandising and store standards to maximize sales opportunities.
* Keyholding responsibilities.
* Deal with day-to-day issues as they arise.
Person Specification:
* Experience of managing retail teams in a fast-moving retail environment, ideally within the home furnishings sector.
* Customer driven with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Display competence in store operation, including compliance, processes, and visual merchandising.
* Highly commercial, organized, and adaptable with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
* Motivated, with keen attention to detail.
