A brand new role has arisen in a fast-paced international engineering business based near Camberley. We are looking for an experienced PMO Coordinator/Officer to proactively support a busy product engineering and development team. To be successful in this role youll need to be a strong communicator, highly organised, and keen to take ownership of the Project Management Office. The role will support the Product Development team in day-to-day activities as well as improving project performance, standardising project management processes, and ensuring project alignment with strategic goals. The role will be overseeing project documentation, tracking project metrics, and providing administrative and technical support to project teams. The PMO Officer will: Manage the project management tools and software. Monitor and report on project performance across the business. Develop, implement, and maintain project management standards, processes, and templates to ensure consistent project delivery across the organisation. Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to PMO processes and practices to enhance overall project efficiency. Collaborate with the Quality department and project management teams, ensuring the right processes are in place to streamline the project life cycleand enhance quality assurance. Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards, conducting regular quality checks and audits across projects. Create and implement systems to identify potential project, assisting in the development of effective mitigation strategies. Were looking for: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project support or project coordination role. Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Project Online. A diplomatic, positive communicator who is used to challenging the status quo. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall would be desirable but not essential. Previous experience in an Engineering business involved in project delivery and audits. Please note that applicants must be eligible to achieve SC Clearance.
