We are currently working with a rapidly expanding construction company who are looking to appoint a Bid Manager to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bid process from initial receipt of enquiry through to submission of quotation, ensuring all incoming enquiries are managed and delivered on time to meet customer needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that delivers a wide variety of projects for major Tier 1 contractors.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage bid processes from initial receipt of enquiry to submission of quotation
* Ensure timely delivery of quotations in line with company brand
* Identify and incorporate risks into quotations
* Support the business development team with client meetings
* Obtain timely and accurate sub-contract and material quotes
* Compile and manage data on in-house IT systems
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Bid Manager or Estimator
* Construction industry experience in a commercial role
* A good awareness of construction contracts
* Good communication skills
* Experience of working to deadlines
* Good IT skills
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location
The successful candidate will be based in the UK, with regular travel to client sites required.
